Pure Adventure
We invite you to a place of peace, where birds’ calls get answered, where deer may pass your site, and where the daily calls of a thriving Bald Eagle family welcome every sunset and sunrise. This is what makes us unique. Silence is loud with the sounds of nature.
5 Reasons to Stay with usWe are located in a globally unique ecosystem called an inland temperate rainforest. This means green, lush, old-growth forests year-round and the famous "powder snow" like no other during the winter months. Not only that, the presence of the top predator means the entire ecosystem is healthy. It means there are fish in the river, and so much more. Come and experience it!
We are centrally located in Blewett, BC, just 15 km west of Nelson and 35 km east of Castlegar. We are also located along the Trans Canada Trail, also known as The Great Trail, spanning 28,000 km and connecting all three Canadian coasts. The space is tucked along the Kootenay River, where there is very little boat traffic and peaceful, large, shallow bays. During the summer months, the water is warmer than the main river, making it perfect for swimming, paddleboarding, and kayaking.
BONUS: No mosquitoes!

The surrounding trees are living generations. The fallen stumps are full of fungi, the soil is alive with microorganisms, the bushes provide fruits for birds, and the magical smell of moss is a sign of a healthy forest. It creates an elevated forest bathing experience similar to Shinrin-yoku. Just open your senses… all of them. It is a true sensory experience—to smell the leaves, hug a large tree, or lay on a moss-covered patch. This is our invitation and why we are ONLY BY RSVP.
